Blog Sports Science
For the past couple of weeks we have been doing sporting science. I love it and have been asking to do it for the past 2 years and now we are doing it!
My first results have been better than i expected. I am fitter than i thought id be. My stand out would have to be 9.1 in the beep test. I got the second highest with the 1st place runner running 20m more than me (so close yet so far!)
The exercises we did were:
Hanging knee lift
Press up
Pull up
Beep test
Vertical jump
Standing broad jump
12 minute run
Skipping-1 minute
Long jump hurdles
Shuttles
Depth jump
And here are my results:

The hardest would easily be the pullups they were very hard. The easiest would be the beep test as i have just finished my rugby season so im still fit.
I really work hard in this subject because i'd like to be a sporting medic for super rugby or the all blacks when im older. I think every School should have sporting science as a learning criteria.
